Romain-Rolland-Gymnasium, Germany

The Romain-Rolland-Gymnasium is a high school situated in the north of Germany’s capital: Berlin. We have about 100 teachers and 1100 pupils,

Children can start learning the language at our school starting grade 5. Most of them however join Romain-Rolland-Gymnasium in grade 7. These pupils can choose between different classes, learning English or French as their first foreign language (also intensively in our French bilingual branch). They can enter the special science section as well.

At “RoRo", we enjoy many exchanges, also scientific ones, with France, Switzerland, the UK, Singapore and China. Frequently, albeit on a less regular basis, Romain-Rolland-Gymnasium groups join different multinational projects.

We successfully take part in many language and science competitions. We are very proud that our school was awarded first prize by a decision of the Education Ministers' Conference (KMK).
