or do you get to tour much?
Josh: At one point it felt like we
were playing every weekend, but
we’ve been working on our full length
album so we have taken time off.
Jeremy: Other than the last 2
months, while recording and me and
my wife having our baby, we play out
a lot really. No tours as of yet though.
But we have branched out outside of
local cities.
Jeremy: We’ve had all types of inspiration. Mine
personally comes from my love of music growing up.
Just trying to write something that other people would
rock out to the same way I grew up rocking out to my favorite bands. Anything from Korn, Metallica to Snoop
dogg and Dr Dre.
If someone wanted to hear your music where could
they find it? Do you have a Soundcloud or ReverbNation account?
We have a Reverbnation account and we have videos on YouTube as well
Speaking of social media sites, do you think that
online presence like Facebook or Twitter are important
for a band? Do you guys use any?
Josh: I think all of us and most local bands are
experiencing the current love/hate relationship with
Facebook, but the reality is that’s still how we are able to
communicate the best with our fans.
Stephen: Facebook is starting to be hard to deal
with. With the sight dropping people who have liked
our page who knows if Facebook can even be trusted for
a local band to get the word out for shows? I have heard
good things about twitter; but man...I’m old. Need a
young buck to show us how to rock that shit.
Jeremy: I feel it is key to a band for this generation
to have those types of social media outlets. What kills
it is things like facebook crippling bands making harder
to reach fans unless you pay. I totally understand the
business side of that for sites like that, but there has to
be an easier way for up and coming bands to reach their
new fans without breaking them. Make it easier for you
to get your music out to new fans before having to pay.
Youtube is a great outlet as you can get your music out
with no cost, but then you still have to share it on some
other social media for it to be seen.
Do you guys play out much? Do only play locally
first album and get it out to as many people as possible.
Dave: Finishing our record at JP Audio Labs is certainly first and foremost on our minds. With the pace
at which we have been accelerating I definitely see us
getting this show on the road very soon.
Stephen: I’m not sure. I am fairly certain we will
still be writing and honing our craft; and would love to
think that we have had a tour of some kind under our
belt by that time.
Jeremy: Touring nationally, playing with well
known bands. Working on our second album in studio
