rian Steele Medina, hailing from Colorado
before venturing to Cali, draws the attention of screaming onlookers with his eccentric and
entirely entertaining drumming techniques. His
tribalistic beats encourage every muscular fiber of
your being to spring to life daring all to follow the
rhythmic flailing of his sticks. While entranced with
his percussive ineptitude, you will find yourself affixed upon Brian’s comically yet hypnotic display
of showmanship. Being a drummer myself I have
found the set up of his drumkit even more mysterious with his toms set up in the arrangement
of marching toms. After finding that his musical
beginnings included time in the drum corps, this
made much more sense to me. The drum corps
fashion is strong in his showmanship and constant hand alternation in each strike. It is a unique
fashion of drumming that I have yet to see in rock
percussionists and am more than impressed with
what I have seen and heard thus far. Traditional is
one word that does not come to mind when speaking of Brian. The Syncopation in the rhythm is one
of many things that sets Gemini Syndrome aside
from your average everyday rock bands.

Aaron Nordstrom gives the finishing touches to the Gemini Syndrome sound with his deep,
melodic overtones on vocals. His stage presence gives onlookers the impression of strength
and confidence. Aaron was formerly a member of
OTEP before Gemini Syndrome was formed, possibly contributing to his onstage confidence. His
history in practicing martial arts shows as he first
enters center stage and humbly bows to the crowd
at every show. His strong, driving, melodic rock
voice pounds the emotionally charged lyrics home
to all listener
