Collins fan, go figure right?
As a band do you guys have a favorite local club?
What makes it your favorite? How about a regional
club?
Hands down the rogue bar in Phoenix AZ. It’s our
home base, and our favorite place to play. Great vibe,
great people, great owner. We love you Manny!!! It’s a
must stop for anyone coming through Phoenix.
scribe. Their punk, or folk, or sound like so and so. But
with us, it’s just us. We have bits and pieces of different
styles and genres, but I wouldn’t say we’re one thing.
Plus, I’ve never really heard the same comparison from
anyone. Everytime someone describes us to us, it’s always different. I like it that way. Keeps you guessing.
Let’s get everyone’s opinion on this. If someone ask
you for advise about being in a band or about starting
one, what would you say? Would you encourage or discourage them?
Most bands dream of making it big or reaching the
top. Do you guys have that dream or do you care if you
get a recording contract?
I think we all collectively agree, so long as we keep
making the best records we can. While still playing and
moving forward as artist. It doesn’t really matter to us
about anything else. We’re already apart of the 80/20
family, a local record label in Phoenix. So as long as we
just keep going, I think well all he happy.
How do you balance your music with other obligations like school, work, or girlfriend?
What obligations? You mean there are other things
outside of being in a band and playing music?
Who would you guys say was the biggest musical
or non-musical influence on each of you? And why?
For Chelsey it’s musical theater, nirvana and
queen. Dramatic over the top rock n roll theatrics. Roberts a big fan of Dave Matthews and American horror
story. Gruesome jam band madness. Ben wishes he was
in parliament funkadelic. And Matts a huge Phil
So that’s about it any last words?

If your not ready to
fight, if your not ready to
get uncomfortably close,
don’t bother. It’s fun playing music with anyone,
but a band. A serious
band, it takes work and
it’s not always fun and
games. So pretty much,
if your not ready to get
dirty. If you think it’s all
just parties and fun, you
probably shouldn’t try.
You can really tell the
bands that are families
from the ones that are just
friends.
What are some of
your likes and dislikes
about being in a band?
Love traveling and
performing and meeting
so many amazing bands
and musicians. Hate gas
station food, annoying
drunk people, and having
to pack and unpack everyday.

Who have guys shared a stage with? Any national
acts?
The burning of Rome out of California are some
great friends of ours. We’ve shared the stage with Capsula a great band from Spain. And our good friends the
love me nots from AZ, who are quite the deal in France.
