SM: Hi Sharon, tell me about how it all began for you?

ST: I was raised in Derby, England, close family with my parents, brother and twin sister. I got into music early. When I was 6, I was in hospital for 6 weeks and I remember I loved the song Summer Holiday by Cliff Richard. The first film I saw at the cinema was The Spy Who Loved Me, when I was 12 (1977)

SM: So this began your love affair at the movies. When did you first know about John?

ST: I saw a poster of John Travolta in a teen magazine also when I was 12. That's what started my love for him. Then I saw Grease at the cinema and watched him on Top of the Pops when his songs from Grease were in the pop charts.

SM: I believe that was “The One That I Want". I remember that was a huge hit and "Summer Nights". Great memories for a lot of folks and I'm sure that had a huge impact on you in a big way. When did you eventually meet John?

ST: I first met JT in 1990. I was 25, at a TV studio in London where he was be interviewed about Look Who's Talking, then I met him in 2000 at a book signing for Battlefield Earth, he remembered me, the same day I saw him outside the cinema for the premiere of Battlefield Earth, then John invited me to events in London in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

With John Travolta,

and Burt Reynolds

SM: In pop culture, what excites you these days?

ST: I’m not fond of much modern music. my favorite band is Bon Jovi, I love most types of films, my favorites are JT, horror, comedy, action, thriller, sci fi and musicals, and my current favorite TV show is “Haven”.

SM: You have been a widely recognized visitor of major conventions and have met and chatted with some very famous people over the years. Who are standouts for you?

ST: I love going to conventions. My favorite celebrities I've met are Burt Reynolds, Richard Dean Anderson, Thomas Jane, Henry Winkler, Ken Kirzinger, Robert Englund, David Hasselhoff, Dean Cain, Scott Bakula, Gil Gerard, Tony Todd, Ben Browder, John Schneider, Tom Wopat, Robert Patrick, Linda Hamilton, Michael Madsen, Buzz Aldrin, Robert Rusler, the stars of Haven, Lucas Bryant, Emily Rose, Eric Balfour, and Adam Copeland (AKA Edge). I love getting the chance to talk to them about their careers. I recently met Lee Majors which was amazing!

SM: That’s quite a great number added to however many more you have had the honor of meeting. Is there any other artist’s besides JT you have been close to as well? I heard you have worked with our editor in chief, Al Mauro?

ST: Yes! Al Mauro sent me a friend request on Facebook. I started to follow his career in music and film. He's a great person and I admire him a lot. I made the Al Mauro Facebook Fan Club page so that I can support him in the great work that he does.

SM: That’s awesome! He has said great things about you too and was excited to hear you would be featured in the magazine. Any future plans?

ST: My future plans are to continue to follow John Travolta and Al Mauro. I would love to see Al on tour and I would love to meet him one day. I'm passionate about family, friends, JT, Al, conventions, Bon Jovi and cinema.
