Let me start off by saying I am a great fan of your music and your work as a movie maker for many reasons. You have done some incredible things in life that only one can dream of.
"Jon Bon Jovi or Bruce? Jerseyboy Hero". What an inspirational movie you made. I like how you activated your belief in God and step out on faith. Every day as people are given opportunities in life.
DS: How did you know your opportunity was calling you to become a filmmaker?
Chris V: “opportunity”?? Well, if you mean How did I know God was calling me to be a filmmaker? I guess, I just saw the opportunity and took the leap of faith necessary to see the decision through to the end. I believe that God requires such faith and the determination to prove that faith when given the chance.
DS: What were the struggles you faced when you came to a crossroad in life as a filmmaker?
Chris V: there where many struggles, financially, technologically, etc. however, the struggles to balance it all with working full time and managing a Wife and family is what proved to be the most challenging.
DS: SapphirEmerald Magazine likes to get up close and in person, please tell our readers who is Chris Vaughn's to the world?
Chris V: Well, I would say I have always been The guy who believed in the impossible. I always strived to find the good in everyone, even when it wasn’t there. I guess, I was, and always will be a dreamer. Life is a journey back to the eternal and As a husband for 20 years, father of 3 Boys and Christian Man, that must be what, who I am. I am a little light in this dark place, and I hope I get better at it with age.
DS: Choose five powerful words that would describe your personality?
Chris V: intense, confident, driven, singular, believing.
DS: To help film-makers to become successful like you what words of encouragement and business secrets you are willing to share to help them to grow?
Chris V: Don’t wait for other people to make your dreams come true. You can not count on others to see or care about your vision. The only one you can trust, is God, the only one that will definitely be there, is you and Him. Do your dreams. Do them today.
DS: Mr. Vaughn's you have a loving supported family and friends that help back you? What was the most mind-blowing moment that you got the most incredible help making this movie?
Chris V: Well, everything was a lesson with this film/music project. There were times where everyone doubted, even me. But when I was weak, someone else was strong. When someone failed, someone picked up the slack. It was an orchestra, and I was lucky enough keep every playing their part.
