We are extremely excited to inform you that for the first time ever San Lameer has now entered a men ' s SKZN Handicap League Team . It will be challenging finding enough players but with the support from the regular members I am confident that we will fill a team and fly the San Lameer flag with great pride .

There are 6 teams playing 5 games a year , all played at different clubs . The team will consist of 8 players . Maximum handicap is 16 but this does not stop a player with a higher handicap from playing ( as long as he plays off the maximum of 16 ). All league games will be played on a Sunday . In the morning Better Ball and in the afternoon Singles . This will be great to build camaraderie en make new friends with our neighbouring clubs . Pro Shop Vouchers and expiry date Please note that , as per our auditor ' s request , all vouchers must be claimed within 12 months from date of issue . Should you have any vouchers that have already expired , we will be more than happy to still honour expired vouchers until 30 September 2017 , but unfortunately thereafter they will be on a strict 12 month validity from date of issue . We thank you for your understanding in this regard .

Busy month of May Please take note that May 2017 is an exceptionally busy month at the Country Club and we therefore want to bring it to everyone ' s attention well in advance should you be planning to visit San Lameer .

We apologise if this may cause any inconvenience to anyone who had trips planned already but trust that you will recognise the importance of these tournaments and corporate days at San Lameer . As mentioned above , we will be closed from 11-20 May so I will arrange reciprocal rates with our neighbouring courses . Please e-mail me your preferred date , course and tee times so I can book this for you . We are blessed to have Wild Coast , Southbroom , Margate and Port Shepstone to choose from , so please do not hesitate to contact me to make alternative bookings for you .

Course news The course is in an exceptional condition and the last bit of rain we had did some wonders to the course . This week we continue to spray for foreign grasses on all fairways , so yellowing is expected . Greens continue to improve in density and smoothness .

Ons is baie opgewonde om jou te laat weet dat San Lameer vir die eerste keer ooit ' n span vir die Mans SKZN Voorgee Liga gaan inskryf . Dit sal ' n uitdaging wees om genoeg spelers te kry , maar met die ondersteuning van die gereelde lede is ek vol vertroue dat ons ' n span sal vul en die San Lameer vlag met groot trots sal vlieg .

Daar is 6 spanne wat 5 wedstryde per jaar speel , almal by verskeie klubs . Die span sal bestaan uit 8 spelers . Die maksimum voorgee is 16 , maar dit beteken nie dat ' n speler met ' n hoër voorgee nie kan speel nie ( so lank as wat jy van ' n maksimum voorgee van 16 af speel ). Alle ligawedstryde sal op ' n Sondag gespeel word . In die oggend Beterbal en in die middag Enkelspel . Dit sal wonderlik wees om kameraadskap te bou en nuwe vriende met ons naburige klubs te maak .
