Arrival Notifications : The reception personnel are experiencing problems with arrival notifications that are not sent to Estate Reception on time . When guests of homeowners report at Estate Reception there is no notification of their arrival and reception personnel must then phone the homeowners who are not always available on their phones .
We kindly request that homeowners please send arrival notifications and access codes at least 24 hrs in advance in order for reception personnel to capture data and ensure guests ' arrivals are completed without any inconvenience .
In order for Security Department to update the Database on the ClickOn system we kindly request homeowners to complete the registration forms .

Dear Homeowners
As you already may be aware the previous general valuation roll , on which property rates were based , was implemented with effect from 01 July 2012 . By now you would have received notice from Ray Nkonyeni Municipality ( previously Hibiscus Coast Municipality ) regarding individual villa valuations for their 2017-2022 financial years as well as the objection process . This information has appeared in the local newspaper and is also available on the municipality ' s official website as well as at their offices . In some instances values have come down and others have increased . Please bear in mind that the values ( Evaluations ) also look at past sales of villas from a particular Lot as well as similar size villas sold at San Lameer in general .
I would like to quickly explain the way forward , as we have received calls from some homeowners regarding the objection process . Should you not be happy with the latest valuation , please complete the objection form ( click on the link available ) and either send it by registered post , email or hand deliver to their offices . Unfortunately San Lameer cannot lodge a blanket objection on behalf of homeowners . Only individual objections are accepted .
Please feel free to request assistance from our office . I have copies of the 2012 valuation roll as well as the current one and will gladly assist with the completion of the objection form .

San Lameer is in the process of establishing 5 Bee Hives on the estate . We currently have 2 hives with swarms in them , and 2 empty hives which we will be using to lure or relocate bee swarms into when found on the estate . We are in the process of purchasing the last empty hive and expect delivery soon .
The hives are situated behind the barn area close to the refuse and recycling works on the edge of the forest . The purpose behind the bee hives is to ensure we retain bees on the estate so that they can continue to do what they do best , pollinate plants and maintain a healthy eco system .
Please , if you would like to view the hives , do so on cooler days or early mornings and late afternoons . During the middle of a hot day is the absolutely wrong time to view the hives as the bees are very active .
Please contact me if you know of any bee swarms that we can relocate to the empty boxes .

Ons het tans 2 korwe met bye in , en 2 leë korwe wat ons gaan gebruik om bye te lok of te hervestig , wanneer hulle op die landgoed gevind word . Die korwe is geleë agter die skuur area naby aan die vullis en herwinning area . Die doel agter die bye korwe is om te verseker dat ons bye op die landgoed behou , sodat hulle kan voortgaan om te doen wat hulle die beste doen , om plante te bestuif en ' n gesonde eko-stelsel in stand te hou .
Indien jy na die korwe wil gaan kyk , doen dit asseblief op koeler dae , vroegoggend of laat middag .
Gedurende die middel van ' n warm dag is dit die verkeerde tyd om die korwe te besoek , omdat die bye dan baie aktief is . Kontak my gerus as jy weet van enige bye swerms wat ons in die leë korwe kan hervestig .
