Wishing you all a very blessed 2017 !
We had a fantastic festive season and want to thank all the staff and stakeholders of San Lameer Estate for ensuring our guests enjoyed their stay in a beautiful and safe environment . Now that season is over , we are very pleased to announce that the hotel rooms will soon be undergoing a complete refurbishment ! As you are aware , we refurbished the restaurant and bar to align ourselves with the iconic San Lameer brand and look forward to sharing with you our progress on the rooms .
Our Food & Beverage Manager , Christiaan Alkema and Executive Chef , Eddie Dorasamy have put their heads together to collaborate on an exceptional and inspired new a la Carte menu . Christiaan has recently completed our new wine offering , which has been designed to incorporate San Lameer ' s ethos of an eco-estate ; boasting brands such as the delectable Stellar Organics Merlot from Namaqualand with delicate hints of granadilla , guava , grapefruit and lime as well as the delightful Anura Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon , from Simonsberg with a touch of black currant , red berry , strawberry , cedar , walnut & spice ; proudly supporting Bio-diversity wine farming .
We look forward to welcoming you to The Lagoon Restaurant to experience our new a la Carte and wine menus which will roll out in time for the April school holidays .
Ons wens julle almal ' n baie geseënde 2017 toe !
Ons het ' n fantastiese feestyd gehad en wil al die personeel en betrokkenes van San Lameer Landgoed bedank dat hul seker gemaak het ons gaste geniet hul verblyf in ' n pragtige en veilige omgewing . Noudat seisoen verby is , is ons baie bly om aan te kondig dat die hotelkamers binnekort ' n volledige opknapping sal ondergaan ! Soos u bewus is ; het ons die restaurant en kroegarea opgeknap om onsself in lyn met die ikoniese San Lameer handelsmerk te plaas en ons sien daarna uit om met julle ons vordering van die kamers te deel .
Ons Voedsel & Drank Bestuurder , Christiaan Alkema en Uitvoerende Sjef , Eddie Dorasamy het koppe bymekaar gesit om saam ' n uitsonderlike en geïnspireerde nuwe a la Carte spyskaart na vore te bring . Christiaan het onlangs ons nuwe wynaanbiedinge ontwerp wat San Lameer se etos van ' n eko-landgoed inkorporeer ; ons spog met handelsmerke soos die heerlike “ Stellar Organics Merlot ” van Namakwaland met ' n delikate tikkie van grenadella , koejawel , pomelo en lemmetjie asook die pragtige “ Anura Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon ” van Simonsberg met ' n tikkie van swartbessie , rooi bessie , aarbei , sederhout , okkerneut & spesery ; so word die Bio-diversiteit van wynboerdery trots geondersteun .
Ons sien daarna uit om jou te verwelkom by die “ Lagoon ” Restaurant om ons nuwe a la Carte en wyn spyskaarte wat betyds vir die April-skoolvakansie sal wees , te ervaar .
