ESTATE RECEPTION: ARMBANDS BEACH ACCESS & TAGS
1. TAGS:
If your guest might need an additional vehicle access tag on top of your access tag
that is part of your keys that they should go to security and pay a R100 cash deposit
for the access tag which will be refundable to your guest on date of departure when
handed in. This is of the utmost importance that you communicate the above to the
guest before they arrive. Notify them on confirmation of your booking to collect the
access tag from Security upon their arrival.
2. ARMBANDS FOR BEACH GATE EXIT/ENTRY:
Please note that effective from 1 October 2017, a new system will be put in place
when it comes to the armbands to access the Marina Blue Flag Beach.
The previous system stated the homeowners and guests had to pay a R20 cash deposit
per armband for access to the Marina Blue Flag Beach at Estate Reception. The R20
deposit was refunded when the armband was handed in at Estate Reception.

2. ARMBANDE VIR STRANDUITGANG / TOEGANG:
Let asseblief daarop dat vanaf 1 Oktober 2017 'n nuwe stelsel in werking gestel sal
word met betrekking tot die strandarmbande om toegang tot die Marina
Blouvlagstrand te verkry.
Met die vorige stelsel moes die huiseienaars en gaste 'n R20 kontantdeposito per
armband vir toegang tot die Marina Blouvlagstrand by die Landgoedontvangs betaal.
Die R20 deposito is terugbetaal wanneer die armband by Landgoedontvangs,
ingedien is.
Die nuwe stelsel, wat vanaf 1 Oktober 2017 in werking tree, is soos volg:
'n Nuwe kleurarmband sal geïnkorporeer word.
Ÿ Die huiseienaar en gas betaal nou R10 (in kontant) per armband vir toegang tot
die strand.
Ÿ Daar sal volwasse- en -kinderarmbande beskikbaar wees (dieselfde koste is van
toepassing op beide). Kinders onder 5 het nie 'n armband nodig vir toegang nie.
Ÿ Die armband word die eiendom van die huiseienaar en gas.
Ÿ Geen terugbetalings sal na 1 Oktober 2017 vir die armband toegelaat word nie.
Ÿ Die huiseienaar en gas sal nie toegelaat word om enige armband van enige vorige
jaar vir die nuwe kleurarmband te ruil nie.
The new system, effective from 1 October 2017 is as follows:
Ÿ A new colour armband will be incorporated.
Ÿ The homeowner and guest will now pay R10 (in cash) per armband for beach
access. There will be adult and children armbands available (same above cost
applicable). Children under 5 do not need an armband.
Ÿ The armband becomes the property of the homeowner and guest.
Ÿ NO REFUNDS WILL BE ALLOWED FOR THE ARMBANDS after 1 October 2017.
Ÿ The homeowner and guest will not be allowed to exchange any armband of any
previous year for the new colour armband. Ÿ
We are of the opinion that the new system will be easier and more stream-lined and
will cause less problems and frustration while still maintaining the security check
upon exiting and entering the Estate through the beach gate. Ons is van mening dat die nuwe stelsel makliker en meer gevorderd sal wees en
minder probleme en frustrasie sal veroorsaak, terwyl die veiligheidsbeheer steeds
behou word deur in en uit die landgoed deur die strandhek te gaan.
