Spiritual Journey
The Annual Spiritual Journey Week at Saint Ursula allows students to reflect on their roles as Thinker , Leader , Nurturer , and Prophet . This year , students participated in community service , learned about the history of the Ursulines and their role in our school , and discussed the roles of diversity and spirituality in their lives . As always , our students traveled to Matthew 25 Ministries to assist in their paint program . Also featured in the photo is a highlight of Freshman Ursuline Day — learning how Ursuline Sisters have dressed through the years and taking the opportunity to try on traditional garments .
Steel Magnolias
The first Spring Show to be featured in the new SUA Theater was Steel Magnolias ). The tremendous actresses in this show shared this comedy-drama about the bond among a group of Southern women in northwest Louisiana . The title suggests the “ female characters are as delicate as magnolias but as tough as steel .”

SUA Walk
The weather was beautiful for the Annual SUA Walk , held on April 13 . Even more exciting than the weather , however , was the amount of money raised to ensure that every student who qualifies is able to attend SUA , regardless of her financial situation . SUA Students raised over $ 33,000 for this year ’ s Walk .
TechOlympics
The 2018 SUA TechOlympics Team participated in the 2018 TechOlympics , which was held at the Millennium Hotel and allowed students to compete in challenges ranging from programming to design to networking . This year ’ s team used SUA ’ s 3D Printer to create cookie cutters . Students then made cut-out cookies and sold them to benefit Sophie ’ s Angels Run , The Karen Wellington Foundation , and Grant us Hope charities .
