Cultural Activities and Trips
Beside the offical Project meetings and the activites, a lot of
cultural trips and the activities also was held during the mobilities, these
activities had a great contribution to cultural interaction between the two
countries people and they had opportunity to learn about different
cultures, sharing their personal experiences, traditions, food, life style
,etc. Also, these activites have cemented the friendship and cooperation
between the people of two countries.
In Romania, ‘city museum of Gorj county’, ‘Kiss Gate’, Silence
Table’, ’Endless Column’; in Bucharest ‘Parleamnet House’,’Bran Castle’
in Ticleni ‘Petrofac’ , ‘ Transalpina’ was visited.
In Turkey, Kayseri City Tour, Trip to Cappadocia Region, Trip to
Mount Erciyes,was organised. Before leaving Turkey Ayasofia Museum,
Blue Mosque, Topkapı Palace was visited.
On the other hand, some social activites was held such as
traditional Turkish Night in Cappadocia, Traditional Festive Dinner in
Ticleni, gala show, friendly footbal match between two countries.
All the beneficiaries in the Project realised of diversity in cultures
and languages with the help of Project activities and this was lead to
understanding of European Citizenship which should be a priority for
each people in global world.
Through these activities, individuals from different cultures
met
and as a result, prejudgments decreased and tolerance increased and
this situation contributed to participants’ self improvement and European
Citizenship concept.
