UPDATE on Partners: Texas Office Historic Sacred Places Receive Major Gifts Two Dallas churches with a history of serving the larger community will receive grants from Partners for Sacred Places thanks to several gifts from anonymous donors. Grace United Methodist Church will receive $25,000 and Oak Lawn United Methodist Church will receive $100,000. Both congregations have worked closely with Partners to strengthen the care and use of their historic buildings, and are graduates of Partners’ signature training program, New Dollars/New Partners for Your Sacred Place. In 2008, Grace and Oak Lawn were among a dozen Dallas congregations that participated in Partners’ intensive training program, sponsored by the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church.
