ADMISSIONS INFORMATION
Parents of students often say that from the moment they walked
through our doors, they knew Sacred Heart was the right fit for
their child.
In whatever way your decision unfolds—through research, talking
with friends, attending one of our Admissions Coffees, or all three
—we’re here to partner with you.
The Admissions Office is happy to answer your questions and
provide the kind of detailed information that will assist you in your
decision-making process.
KINDERGARTEN EARLY DECISION OPTION
Whether you’re still considering other schools or are confident that
you want your child to attend Sacred Heart, you can apply in the
fall of the year that your child turns 3 years old. Children who receive
early acceptance can remain at their current preschool for junior
kindergarten or their 4-year-old program, and parents can plan for
the future knowing that a space has been reserved in Sacred Heart’s
kindergarten when their child is 5. (All children must be 5 years old
by September 1 of the year they enter kindergarten.)
SOME FACTS YOU SHOULD KNOW
Free after school care
This daily free program provides homework help and other super-
vised activities for students until 6 pm. Parents can also drop off
their children before school starts—beginning at 7:15 am.
Bus service
Sacred Heart offers daily bus service to several Chicago neighbor-
hoods. Ask our Admissions Office for details.
