On the 13th of May the first installment of SACC’s new business breakfast seminar initiative took place at
the office of Larsson & Scheuritzel P.C in central Philadelphia. The topic of the first ever breakfast seminar
was The Unwritten Rules of Real Estate Transactions, a talk given by Dave Larsson.
Dave Larsson has practiced commercial real estate law since 1984, advising clients all across the United
States. During that period, he has helped one client grow from 2 US stores in 1984 to over 40 as of 2016,
and he has helped another client grow to become the market leader in the Delaware Valley. A former
partner at an AmLaw 100 law firm, Dave served as in-house general counsel and executive vice president
to a Philadelphia-area shopping center development company. In 1995, Dave joined Paul Scheuritzel as
a fellow shareholder in the firm that is now known as Larsson & Scheuritzel P.C.
Dave talked about the difficulty of buying, selling, leasing or financing a real estate asset and how to
approach those kinds of business negotiations appropriately. The subject was appreciated by all attendees
and the breakfast was wonderfully organized with beautiful views over the city. All in all it was a perfect
start to what will hopefully be a permanent feature in SACC’s agenda.
