San Antonio is the place to be in Spring!
A huge THANK YOU to all that have joined in the fun
this spectacular spring at SAAA! So many things to
share with you all that will excite you and get you to
want to join in on all the fun!
The Membership Drive again exceeded their goals this
year by adding 75 new members in 2016. OUTSTANDING work by our committee, led by Selina Lazarin! Holding his title for 1st place Individual Recruiter bringing in
11 new members for his team was Dominic Alongi! And
new this year was the TOP Recruiting Team - GREYSTAR
who brought in a total of 21 new members! Congratulations to all the committee members who worked
so hard and exceeded the goals given to them. We
couldn’t grow our association membership without
YOU! PAC Business Exchange opened up sales on
March 22, 2016 and was sold out in less than 3 minutes!
EXCITING! NextGEN Taskforce is off the ground and
running! As some of you know, we are now recruiting
members for our 35 and under taskforce led by Marc
O’Cleirigh. This group is anxious to get started and recruit new members that can contribute to this initiative. If you are interested in becoming involved contact SAAA now to get more information on NextGEN.

And how can we not forget…Maintenance Mania and Cook Off? Both events were another great
success at SAAA! What an amazing group of Maintenance Mania participants this year! I will tell you, I
have always been a huge advocate of the Maintenance Mania part of the day and have always come
out to cheer these individuals on. They work so hard
and I can only imagine the amount of time that goes
into practicing and building their RACE CARS to try
and be the TOP WINNER! The cars were all so unique
and fun! I even had my own race car which really

made it fun for me! Being able to start the race was
a huge honor as I raced my car and then proceeded to watch the time for each participant to see if I
had beat them. Really? What was I thinking…this was
my very first time racing a car…did I really think I was
going to beat the professionals? Congratulations to
Jennifer Saunders of Capstone Real Estate who was
our Overall Winner! She did a phenomenal job and
was incredibly FAST! Amazing job Jennifer!
Our Cook off was fantastic and our theme of “Celebrate San Antonio” brought out the inner “Fiesta” in
everyone at our event! Over 1300 people came out
to enjoy the day which turned out to be perfect for
our event! Incredibly creative booths and food selections were everywhere! I loved it all! Kid’s Corner was
well attended and the petting zoo was a big hit! The
bunnies were the cutest! Thank you again to all for
your hard work in putting together another successful
Cook Off at the Helotes Fairgrounds! Cook off is always our favorite family fun event!
Well, after all that you wonder what is NEXT? More fun
that’s what! We have more lined up for you in the next
few months. Join us for ONSITE APPRECIATION NIGHT
on June 23, 2016 at Pedrotti’s North Wind Ranch!
(Same location as last year.) And following soon after that is our annual Bowling Tournament July 14th!
