Non-compliant countries and companies that do not abide by South Africa’s mandatory standards related to plumbing, will not be permitted to exhibit at PLUMBDRAIN. However, should such countries or companies with new products wish to sell in South Africa, they will be required to commit to obtaining the SABS Mark by signing a letter to that effect. INTERBUILD itself has made it clear that it has mandatory standards that will need to be applied for should a country or company wish to conduct business in the building/construction sector locally.
