Indoor succulents
Well, I’m not sure about anyone else, but I
consider myself an indoor succulent killer.
After some research, I’ve worked out my
downfalls in parenting my succulent.
When people say “succulents barely need
watering” – this is only true during the
winter months.
Succulents need to be thoroughly
watered during their growth phase in
summer and spring.
By “watering”, they mean watering until
the water runs out the bottom of the pot
as the water needs to reach all the roots.
The next time you water your succulent
should be when the soil has almost dried

out – but not completely.
Place your succulent near sunlight – a
window sill is a great spot, however, be
careful not to place in a window that gets
too hot (avoid north facing windows). Also
keep away from direct radiant heaters, hot
windows and cool blasts of air from vents.
