Don’t let your home fall
between the cracks
Maintaining your home requires time and
effort, something we have less of in this day
and age!
Staying on top of everything can be far more
beneficial, in regards to saving both time and
money when the time comes to put your
home onto the market.
Your 3 essential things around the house to
maintain are:
• Gardens - depends on the growth rate,
but expect a weekly lawn service in
summer & fortnightly in winter along
with monthly garden maintenance.
• Gutters - essential bi-yearly for those in
fire zones. Not in a fire zone? Schedule
a yearly clean, and while someone is up
there, why not get someone to check the
condition of the roof and valleys?
• Exterior painting – maintaining painting
saves your timbers along with keeping
your home looking loved. Letting your
painting go inevitably leads to a very
expensive paint later down the track with
rotted timbers.
