“We are definitely a community club. Our aim is
provide rugby for all regardless of ability or socio-
economic circumstances. The club is based on the town’s
recreation ground and we have a close relationship with
the community and work closely with the Town Council
and other sports lease holders to promote sport in the
town.”

“There are many challenges we are facing in the
future from volunteer recruitment and retention to
finance and player recruitment and retention. We just
need to ensure that we are true to our core value of being
an inclusive club and our offer is attractive to as wide a
range of people as possible whilst striving to improve

“Our aims for the next five years is to have a thriving
team in all age grades from our little “Bridge Broncos”
to the Academy as well as running two regular teams
at senior level. However, what is ultimately more
important is that everyone who plays for us enjoys the
experience and loves the club.”

my son Ben that I became involved.
Ben plays for the club’s U15s usually
as no 8 and loves his rugby.
