the year and brought home the Colts Plate for the
cabinet. The Senior squads, both faced with
injury difficulties, ended up 6th and
3rd respectively in the Midlands
West One and Midlands Reserve
Leagues.
The
plan
for
this
next season is to build
on
cementing
the
relationship between the
Mini/Junior and Senior
Sections to ensure ALL
our members, parents,
supporters and players
know that we are One
Club, One Family.”
Youth
“The Youth Section is
of paramount importance
to our Club. We have one
of the largest Mini and Junior
Sections in the Midlands with
over 350 players ranging from U7’s
to U16’s. The next step up from this is
two years in our Colts system and to enable
the smooth transition our coaches work alongside
the team at U16 so that they are already familiar with
the different coaching style and the newer
strength and agility demands of the
sport. At the end of the Colts term
the players will move into our
Development Squad, having
again worked alongside the
Coaching Team, who will
then in turn feed into our
First XV squad.”
Integration
“As
mentioned,
we have a very good
coaching set up so that
as the players move
age groups and the
elements of the game
change, a number of the
Senior Squad will hold
training sessions teaching
them real game plays that can
be seen put into practice when
the Seniors are at home. This puts
the players at ease when it comes to
moving on to the Senior game, having already
formed friendships along the way.”
Very proud of our association with Hereford RFC

Danny Corner recently spoke to Rugby Club Magazine,
saying, “It was really through my stepson Connor who plays
down at Hereford that I became connected with the club.
They provide a great service to the local community and
to young people alike and have many dedicated parents,
coaches and members who have helped build the club into
what it is today.
Core Hygiene are a sponsor and I enjoy supporting
Connor and this great club in any way I can. I would like to
congratulate everyone at Hereford RFC on being recognised
for their contribution to Rugby in our community and hope
they all have a successful 2019/2020 Campaign!”
