RC: How’s the general mood down at the club at the
moment?
AP: The mood is positive. We have a great committee
looking after the club’s interests, both on a day to day
basis and looking into future possibilities, with regards
to projects to renovate and improve all aspects of the
club. The 1st team performances this season have added
to the buzz around the club.
RC: How would you say last season was gone for the
club?
AP: This season has been fantastic both on and off
the Paddock, the players have produced a league and
cup double, winning the Midlands East 4 title and the
Lincolnshire Intermediate cup.

We have also set up a Ladies team which is a fantastic
effort from all concerned, from zero to nigh on 30 ladies
is just brilliant, with an anticipated entry into the leagues
for the 2020/2021 season.
RC: What are your plans for the rest of 2019?
AP: For the close season its ground and club
maintenance, with a new bar being fitted in August,
planning pre-season and hoping all the players can
maintain the momentum from this season and have
a great start for the new season. The Committee are
also actively looking into and applying for funding
for refurbishment of the changing rooms and shower
facilities to enable the new ladies team to play.
