played in five decades! (80s/90s/00s/10s/20s). Last
year I also took over as club chairman.”
The Role
“The most challenging part of my role is trying to
build a flow of young players to come through the club

and play in the senior team, for me that involves making
sure that the club has got the right facilities and resources
to be able to attract them. The most rewarding thing
is still being able to play as well as seeing youngsters
coming through the age grades and play for the club,
and be part of that team environment.”
