Stothert and Pitt RFC is a club working hard to play an important role
in their local community. Rugby Club Magazine recently caught up
with their Chairman Nathan Chalmers to find out how they have been
getting along lately.
Involvement
Nathan told us, “I have been involved in the club for over
seven years playing and three years as chairman. What first
attracted me to the club was the heart and spirit of the club and
all its members.
I was just on the brink, about to give up rugby after having
an upset with a new coach at my previous club. The club

captain at the time of Stothert and Pitt, Ben Withey, told me to
give a training session a go and I haven’t left!”
The Role
“The most challenging aspect of my role would be trying to
fit everything in especially whilst working a full-time job and
trying to enjoy a life outside of work and rugby! The rewards
