Chipping Sodbury Motor Company is
proud to announce that they will be
sponsoring this season’s Under 10’s
rugby team at Frampton Cotterell RFC
for the second season running.
As a family-owned and run business,
Chipping Sodbury Motor Company is
delighted to have the opportunity to
sponsor a local team and to support
local youth sport. Having previously
sponsored the team last year they
are very much looking forward to
supporting the team during the
forthcoming season.
The dealership, which sells new and
used Ford and Fiat models and is an
approved Peugeot authorised repairer,
has been in Chipping Sodbury since it
was established in 1967 and is based
on Hatters Lane, just off the High
Street.

Company recently took the time to tell
us about his positive association with the
club, saying, “My son plays for the U10s
and we sponsor that side. Frampton
Cotterell is a great community club and
we wish all the U10s the best of luck for
the upcoming season.”
Success
“It was another strong season for our junior section
with playing numbers continuing to grow or remain stable,
especially our girls section and U6’s. At the start, we had a
hugely successful minis festival enjoyed by over 600 players
and supporters.
Across all teams we had mixed results but overall U13 to
U17 Colts had a 60% win ratio. We hosted seven touring teams
during March/April (winning 5 out 7 games). Our U14s were
GRFU Plate winners, beating Dursley RFC at Hartpury RFC.
Our minis (U6 – U12) took over 350 people away on tour for
the weekend to Brixham, occupying over 100 caravans and the
entire facility.”
