rampton Cotterell RFC is a fantastic example of the important role
that a club can play in its local community. Rugby Club Magazine
recently caught up with their Chairman Andrew Pullen to find out more
about the good work that they’ve been doing lately.
Atmosphere
He told us, “The Club is buoyant
in terms of numbers both playing and
supporting. Our junior section has
squads from 6 through to U16 with
numbers up on previous years. Our
senior section fields four senior sides
including U17s Colts. Sadly, many of our
local rivals and teams in the wider locale
struggle to field all junior age groups and
can only field one or two senior sides.”
