Involvement
He told us, “I first started at the
club six years ago, playing for the third
team on a social basis. I enjoyed it that
much I started training and played with
the second team for three years before
finally making it to the first team and
moving from the back row to hooker for
the past two seasons.
Two years ago I was approached
about helping out with the website as
it wasn’t updated as much as it should
and my role has grown from their really.
From making sure the website was
updated I attended committee meetings
before being made a full member of the
committee two years ago. This year I’ve
also been helping out with the girls U15s
training when enough coaches weren’t
able to make it down. especially the current senior squad; we
are playing week in week out with our
friends not just team mates, which makes
it so much more enjoyable.”
