George Davies & Evans Solicitors have been on Sycamore Street in Newcastle Emlyn since 1901 and in business in the town since 1864 . Our founder , William Evans George , was succeeded by his son Geoffrey and grandson Jeremy . Jeremy Evans George retired in the late 1990s but is still involved with the firm on a consultancy basis . Our Senior Director is Helen Cole who has been with the firm since graduating from King ' s College London and Guildford Law School in 1985 .
With over 150 years in business we like to think that we are getting in right ! Many changes have happened during that time , we have moved with the times while still maintaining a traditional Solicitors practice . We pride ourselves on providing a personal service to a wide ranging client base , locally and in many other parts of Wales and the rest of the UK , from our offices in Newcastle Emlyn and Cardigan

Our particular expertise is in residential and commercial conveyancing ( farms , shops , pubs , hotels , etc ) both freehold and leasehold , leases and tenancies , wills , tax planning , probate and the administration of estates , aspects of elderly client law such as powers of attorney and preserving assets for the next generation .
