“Our mini and junior academy are going from strength to
strength, our colts side are the foundation stone for our three
men’s sides, our girl’s sides are hugely successful and our
women won National Challenge Division 2 South last season
so will be competing in Division 1 this season. We also have a
vibrant touch rugby set up that plays every week throughout
the year including on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
“Poppy Cleall, who played for our mini rugby, girl’s and
women’s sides is in the current England side and generously
gives up her time to support events at the club and sometimes
helps out with some coaching.
“Our ambition over the next five years is to continue to be a
successful community rugby club that provides opportunities
for men, women, boys and girls of all ages and abilities to
play rugby. We see ourselves as a forward thinking club with
traditional values, so our aims are to be successful on the
pitch, to live the values of the game and to continue to be an
important part of our local community.”
