Editor’s Welcome
With the Lions series complete and a hard earned draw in the bag clubs can now turn their attention towards
the new campaign. Teams are well into their pre-season routines and good work (or bad) during this period
can shape their season.
Issue 73 of Rugby Club Magazine looks at what a number of clubs are hoping to achieve with Newcastle Emlyn
looking for another strong campaign in Wales. Back in England, Sheffield Tigers endured a tough season last
year but after pulling off a nail-biting escape from relegation they plan to push on this time around.
Meanwhile, the Rugby League season is in full flow and we take a look at the fortunes of a number of clubs
including Devon Sharks, Blackbrook and West Bowling who all continue to play vital roles developing the
game in their local communities.
We are always keen to hear from anyone with a story to tell so whether you wish to promote a business, a club,
individuals, initiatives or products please do not hesitate to contact our editorial team at [email protected]
or call me directly on 0191 447 8383.
