Blackbrook Amateur RUGBY League FOOTBALL CLUB

Blackbrook ARLFC is a fantastic example of a club playing an important role in their local community by providing people of all ages with an opportunity to play the game in a safe and enjoyable environment . Rugby Club Magazine recently caught up with Club Representative Aron McMahon to find out more .
Involvement
He told us , “ I ’ ve been involved with the club from the age of 18 ( so 16 years ). I first started working as bar staff and subsequently became a bar manager , committee member , DPS and treasurer . It ’ s my local club , living just yards away .
Every aspect of my role as treasurer is both challenging and rewarding in itself . Keeping the club running , money coming in etc . to pay the bills and move forward . It ’ s rewarding for the whole committee to see the club go from strength to strength and become more successful , however this in turn creates its own challenges .”
