Newcastle Emlyn
Gary Morgan is the new chairman of Newcastle Emlyn RFC. He recently told Rugby Club
Magazine, “I am proud to say we have an exceptional club and a great youth structure
at Newcastle Emlyn which has helped us reach the highest league position in our history.
I came to the club as a 17 year old when some friends invited me along to training.
I played as a centre or on the wing up until my early 30s when a knee injury put an end
to my career. The teams have all played well this season and our seniors have achieved
success amongst clubs who have more resources than we have. I would like to thank
everybody associated with Newcastle Emlyn for their continued support, let’s aim for a
top 3 place next season!”
