Editor’s Welcome
With the New Zealand vs Lions test series set to get underway tomorrow there is still plenty of rugby to be
excited about this off-season. Domestically, clubs are working hard to make sure that they are well prepared for
their 2017-18 season.
Issue 72 of Rugby Club Magazine looks back at some of the success stories from last year including Douglas
(I.O.M) and Tring. We also look at the Rugby League season with Ryland Sharks having enjoyed a terrific start
to their campaign.
As usual, lots of clubs across the country are working hard in their communities and we give them a chance to
share their work including Stockton, Tyldesley and Vale of Lune.
We are always keen to hear from anyone with a story to tell so whether you wish to promote a business, a club,
individuals, initiatives or products please do not hesitate to contact our editorial team at [email protected] or
call me directly on 0191 447 8383.
Yours in Sport
