Seniors Mini & Juniors

were having difficulty putting a team out each week, our
Chairman, Chairman of Mini & Juniors and Director of Rugby
all said they would not stand for re-election at the AGM.
A review of the managers and coaches soon showed that
the U17s had been successful over many seasons. Adam Drew
was approached and after some discussion he agreed to take on
the job of Director of Rugby. He brought with him two coaches,
Blair Hunter and Andy Maginis, the team had been to together
for a number of seasons.
Adams first job was to raise the moral of the players and give
them an identity. This was done through structured training
sessions, getting new kit for the players and Andy Maginis
producing a player’s charter so that everyone knew what was
expected of them.

player-coach and Jackson Willison. There were regularly 30+
at training on a Tuesday and Thursday. The final part was the
return of ex Captain James Shewell and No 8 Phil Horton.
