They held a meeting at Bethel Baptist Church on Wednesday 22nd May 1946 and played their first match in the Pontypridd and Rhondda League away to Rhondda Transport. Since then the club has gone on to put together a history of which they have every right to be proud with one of their finest achievements coming when they were crowned champions of the Welsh League Division 8A Central in 1994- 95. Their current group of players will be keen to add to this success over the coming years. The club is currently based at The Parade in Rhondda Cynon Taf and their 54 Issue 71 first team competed in League 1 East Central of the Swalec League this season. They are led by Chair Chris Phillips who is supported by Secretary Alan Porter and the club is looking to progr ess under their guidance. This time around it would be fair to say that their first team did not perhaps enjoy the campaign that they would have liked as they put together a record of two wins and twenty defeats from their twenty two matches. This left them sitting bottom of the table with twelve points on the board. Following this disappointment the club is now determined to turn things around and will be working hard during the off-season to make sure that they are able to do so. As long as they are able to retain their current group of players and can perhaps make one or two quality
