Delhi govt school teacher Manu Gulati gets Martha Farrell Award 2019 for women empowerment
Manu Gulati, a teacher from a Delhi government school, was honoured with the Martha Farrell Award in the Most Promising Individual category for her decades of efforts in enabling a gender-neutral society by coaching boys and girls in Delhi schools.
Manu Gulati is also working as a mentor teacher with Directorate of Education and has been instrumental in helping young girls in receiving formal school education.
Manu also collaborates with America India Foundation's 'Market Aligned Skills Training Program', through which she facilitates training programmes for beauticians, weavers, sales girls etc in Jalandhar in Punjab, Betul in Madhya Pradesh and in Baramullah in Kashmir.
