you meet the criteria you’ll want to apply for your
International FIA Grade C or B (but ideally Grade B
so you can get to race the 24 hour race a bit easier).
Once your licenses are sorted, then you’ll need to get
on to the RCN series of races. With an International
B License you be able to do drive the RCN on your
own. Finish one race in the fastest 75% of your
class (that has at least 8 starters). If you have the
International C then you’ll need to finish three races
(Normally sharing the car with another driver) in the
top 75% of your class (Again with at least 8 starters).
Do either of these and you’ll earn the Nordschleife
Permit B.
The Nordschleife Permit is separate from your racing
licenses and apply only to the Nürburgring. The
organisers (DMSB) are strict with their regulations
so there are no shortcuts around it. Once you have
your Nordschleife Permit B you can start racing in
the VLN.
To drive the 24 hour race, your next goal will be to
get the Nordschleife Permit A (also if you want to
drive any of the top class cars in the main VLN races
- e.g. GT4 Class, Porsche Carrera Cup, GT3 cars).
You’ll need around 3 to 4 VLN finishes in the top
75%, in a class with at least 8 starters. With these
races you should have completed at least 18 race laps
(practice and qualification laps don’t count).
With Nordschleife Permit A in hand, you can
officially start in the 24 hours of Nürburgring race.
Zusätzlich benötigst du deine nationalen und inter-
nationalen FIA-Rennlizenzen. Abhängig von deinem
Heimatland brauchst du ein paar nationale Renner-
gebnisse, um eine internationale Lizenz zu beantra-
gen. Sobald du die Kriterien erfüllt hast, solltest du
dich für deine Internationalen FIA Stufe C oder B
bewerben (aber idealerweise Stufe B, das macht es
für das 24h Rennen etwas leichter).
Sobald deine Lizenzen sortiert sind, musst du dich
auf die RCN-Rennserie konzentrieren. Mit einer
internationalen B-Lizenz kannst du die RCN selbst
fahren. Beende ein Rennen in den schnellsten 75%
deiner Klasse (mit mindestens 8 Startern). Wenn du
die internationale C Lizenz hast, dann musst du drei
Rennen (normalerweise teilen wir uns das Auto mit
einem anderen Fahrer) in den ersten 75% deiner
Klasse beenden (wiederum mit mindestens 8 Star-
tern). Wenn du eines davon machst, erhältst du die
Nordschleife Permit B.
Die Nordschleifen Permit ist von deinen Rennlizen-
zen getrennt und gilt nur für den Nürburgring. Die
Organisatoren (DMSB) sind streng mit ihren Vor-
schriften, so dass es keine Abkürzungen gibt. Sobald
du deine Nordschleifen Permit B hast, kannst du in
der VLN starten.
Um das 24-Stunden-Rennen zu fahren, ist dein
nächstes Ziel die Nordschleife Permit A (auch wenn
du in den wichtigsten VLN-Rennen eines der Spit-
zenautos fahren möchtest - z.B. GT4-Klasse, Porsche
Carrera Cup, GT3-Fahrzeuge). Du brauchst etwa 3
