Do you ever feel as though you do
not fit in? I know I had the hardest
trouble trying to figure out who I was,
and who I wanted to be throughout
middle school. I did not know how to
act, so I always followed people who
seemed like they knew who they
were.

I tried fitting in everywhere, but I never felt like I was in the right place. I
always looked up to my brothers and
sisters wondering why I couldn’t be
like them and know who I was.
One day my older sister told me not
to worry about what others think, and
to just be myself because someone
would love me for simply being me.
So that day forward I finally had the
courage to be myself, and it was the
most wonderful feeling that I have
ever experienced. So remember ladies, be yourself because like Dr.
Seuss says, “Today you are You, that
is truer than true. There is no one
alive who is Youer than You.”
