Ok, Sisters let's talk!
I realize the subject of women
hating on other women is not new and many have
written, blogged and even posted YouTube videos
about this popular, but ever so sad, topic. But, I thought
I would join the conversation with my own spin and
perspective.
I'd like to start by asking you to marinate on a couple of
questions for just a minute. But I need you to be truthful. Ok?
When was the last time you encouraged, empowered
or excitedly embraced the journey of a woman that was
living out her purpose and REALLY MEANT IT? (I mean
really meant it. Not a dry "good job" or half-hearted
"You go girl" covered with hidden undertones of jealousy).
Have you ever discouraged or disrespected a woman
because she was fabulously living out the dream you
longingly desire to live out?
I believe that if we're all being real with ourselves we
each can say that we've done both the encouraging and
maybe some of the discouraging, even if it was just our
private thoughts. But the question really is which one
do you do more often? While our intentions are to encourage and empower the woman to the left and to the
right of us, sometimes our emotions take over and lead
us to the fountain of "Haterade". And tru F
