Creative Writing ◀︎ The moon casts an eerie shadow over the manor. Suddenly I hear the hiss behind me again and decide I have no other choice than to set off into the manor. I have no time to think of how strange it is to find an abandoned mansion on a deadly remote island. I come to a halt in front of the enormous double wooden doors. I push at one and the door slowly creeks open. I turn back to look outside, but I don’t see the creature anymore. Just as I want to step out of the manor again, the doors swing shut in front of me. I pull hard at the doors but nothing happens. Just as I give up and turn back to face the inside of the manor, I feel a cold finger tracing down my spine. I shiver. It feels like the darkness is pushing its way in just to get trapped here. Inside it’s was only for a moment, because now the emotions are overwhelming gloomy and even colder than outside.
