Hello Chris Laney and Rob Marcello of Laney’s Legion
and welcome to Rocknation. Your band will be releasing a
self titled CD called “Laney’s Legion” on Perris Records.
Please tell us about what each of your songs is about:
“On And On” Well just as the title tells you it’s about
going on & on… in this case it is about a relationship
where the one who had it starts to question it. Love hurts.
“Lady Luck”
About finding true love at first sight and never giving up
on getting it.
“Poptastic”
Here’s a song about the music that makes you wanna
party. you can say it is a celebration to the artists in my
vinyl collection!
“Beneath The Surface”
Could have been about a Vampire but I choose to see him
as a guy with the self knowledge of being an a-hole. He is
warning the girl that there’s more than meets the eye.
“Bleed Within”
This is about Love too...surprise ;) This is about being in a
destructive relationship, Love/Hate kind of thing.

About breaking up and feeling happy and relieved, let’s
get the party started!
“Hollow”
When you hit the wall and feel like you have nothing
left… Like a total breakdown.
“Taste Of Your Tongue”
This is a song to strip by ;) Just about meeting that chick
you never thought you would go for but ending up
having amazing sex!
“Assassin Of Our Love”
Romance Scam! This guy goes from one to another
without feeling regret.
“No One Can Stop Us”
This is to all the people out there feeling small by
reading blogs, looking on how people seem to have it on
Instagram or even commercials or Facebook.. C’mon,
Get back in the ring, You are fantastic as you are!
“Legion”
Us against you. This is our anthem, hopefully our fans
too. We’re gathering our Legion!
