TROUBLE IN PARADISE CITY Ex-Guns N’ Roses guitarist is divorcing his wife after 13 years of marriage In 2010, Slash filed for a divorce due to ‘irreconcilable differences’ but four months later dismissed it as a stupid idea. The couple with two children then renewed their wedding vows the next summer. However, according to a person that is close with the couple, it is ‘different’ this time. On the 11th January Perla (Slash’s wife) fled Los Angeles with her two sons London, 12 and Cash, 8 to the Island where they first married in 2001. She has also reportedly hired a lawyer as she wants ‘half of the money he made since they married’ - this includes Slash’s profits from five albums, one which went double platinum. Slash’s longest marriage is over KANYE WEST FANS: WHO’S PAUL MCCARTNEY? After complaints, Etsy removed the controversial shirts and an eBay seller who was also selling them has removed them from their site. On eBay, they were being priced at $25.19 and reportedly 16 people had already bought the tops before they were removed. Many believed that the t-shirts, as with ‘Journals’ - a book published with Cobain’s secret diary and notes inside, was exploitation and ‘bad taste’. The controversial garments: would you buy one? PUDDLE OF MUDD FRONTMAN RIDES AIRPORT BAGGAGE CAROUSEL, GETS ARRESTED Wes Scantlin was arrested on a Friday for riding an airport baggage carousel The Puddle of Mudd frontman reportedly arrived with his band at Denver International Airport before a concert and rode on a baggage carousel. He was seen coming ‘out of the secured area through an alarmed door’ and was taken into custody. Surprisingly, Scantlin still managed to get to the concert—albeit hours late, after a fan bailed him out of jail. The gig’s promoter also had an issue with the band: “Those of you that stayed I hope you love Puddle of Mudd cause we will NEVER book them again.” 4 When you’re a rock star you can do what you want (but you’ll still get arrested!)
