Elysion: Silent Scream

Our “global village” full of interesting cultural diversity brings us musically speaking, the most picturesque places. The rock genre serves as the foundation for structuring the sound of Elysion, Greek gang of Gothic / Alternative Rock formed in 2006 by guitarist, keyboardist and composer Johnny Zero, and the singer Maxi Nil.

Initially both get the support of other musicians with different backgrounds and recorded a single promoting themselves through live performances as the opening act,

being positively reviewed by professional journals. But in 2008 the founder Maxi Nil amicably decided to abandon the project being replaced by current vocalist Christianna.

The band however does contract with Massacre Records and the following months together with FXF on bass and Petros Fatis on drums, recorded their first album titled "Silent Scream" which was released in late 2009 achieving an excellent proposal sound after three years of preparation to liven up a really interesting album, easily assimilated by the brilliant touches pop / rock of each song as opposed to the beautiful and powerful gothic atmosphere achieved by the melodic and versatile voice of Christianna.

"Silent Scream" had the important assistance of sound engineer Ted Jensen, who has worked for Evanescence, Iron Maiden, Slipknot, Nickelback, Korn and Marilyn Manson. It was mastered in his own studio called Sterling Sound Studios in the USA, which ensured a high quality end result. The enigmatic artwork was done by the designer Natalie Shau (Lacuna Coil, The Duskfall, Poison Black, among others).
