P hotographers The Contract Once you choose your photographer, get a written contract.  This should specify the time your photographer is to arrive, how long the photographer stays, and the delivery date of your photos.  Let them know important people and moments you definitely want captured!  It's also important to be clear about your timeline.   Timeline Tricks Don't let your photographer take advantage of you with shoot time, taking you away from your wedding.  But also be flexible with your expectations of what they can shoot for you an your allotted time frame.  Doing a "first look" can drastically cut down photography time between the ceremony and reception.  It will give you tons of time for great photos and still allow you to enjoy cocktail hour and get the party started on time.
