Miscellaneous Items

- Lip Balm - SPF 15 or higher. Alba un-Petroleum

- Sunscreen - We recommend small tubes of SPF 15 or higher, which can be carried in

pockets for easy access and to prevent freezing. Doc Martin's Sunscreen

- 2-3 pairs of chemical hand and toe warmers

- Garbage Bags - 2-3 used for lining your backpack or sleeping bag stuff sack

- Ear Plugs - Nice to have in order to block out some of the noise.

- Camera - Should be small enough to fit in a chest pocket

- Binoculars

- Insect repellent

- Luggage Locks - for your duffel bags. Must be TSA approved.

- 2-3 stuff sacks


- Insulated Mug - Either the GSI Fairshare Mug or the Whittaker Mountaineering 12 oz. mug

- Pocket Knife - Petzl Spatha Knife

Water Bottle We recommend 2-3 Wide Mouth Nalgene Bottles.

Hydration Tip Plan on bringing hard-sided large mouth water bottles on the climb. These are much easier to fill and are less likely to leak.

Travel Docs

- Passport - Valid for six months beyond your return date.

- Copy of passport - the first two pages

- Copy of your flight itinerary

- 2 extra passport photos

- Immunization record
