Tattoo-DNA by Xoil
The new Tattoo-DNA by Xoil is the meeting of two
personalities and the result of genuine collaborative work
between the Swiss watchmaker and the tattoo artist. Xoil
has applied his art on watch straps. Inspired by nineteenth
century imagery, the artist has made five systems based on the
themes of Belief, Balance, Feeling, Perception and Emotion.
Each is tattooed onto a board of five leather straps.
Yeni Tattoo-DNA by Xoil modeli, İsveçli bir saatçi ve bir
dövme sanatçısının arasında gerçekleşen başarılı bir işbirliğinin sonucu. Dövme sanatçısı Xoil, kendi sanatını saatin
kayışına aktarmış. 19. yüzyıldan ilham alan sanatçı; İnanç,
Denge, His, Algı ve Duygu temalarını taşıyan beş adet sistem
oluşturmuş. Bu temalar, beş adet deri kayışa dövme tekniğiyle
aktarılmış.

LM1 Silberstein
Engraved in French on the case band between the
lugs of LM1 Silberstein is a paraphrased quote from
Gustave Flaubert: "Le vrai bonheur est d'avoir sa passion
pour métier" – which translates roughly as, "Making a
profession of your passion is true happiness”. The phrase
carries special meaning for both French watch designer
Alain Silberstein, who left the safety of working in his
trained profession as an interior designer to found his
own watch brand, and MB&F founder Maximilian
Büsser, who left the security of being a successful CEO of
a well-known brand to found his own niche creative lab.
Saatin kasasının üzerinde görülen “Le vrai bonheur est
d'avoir sa passion pour métier" cümlesi, “Sevdiğin işi
yapmak gerçek mutluluktur.” anlamına geliyor. Ancak bu
cümle, asıl mesleği iç mimarlığı bırakarak kendi saat markasını kuran Alain Silberstein ve başarılı CEO görevini
bırakarak kendi niş kreatif atölyesini kuran MB&F’nin
kurucusu Maximilian Büsser için çok daha anlamlı.
