JUNIOR HIGHLIGHTS SHREWSBURY INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Y1 PLANT SEEDS FOR GREENER FUTURE: On Tuesday 12th May, Year 1 went on a trip to Prapadeang to plant some trees. The trip was planned to support our learning about rainforests. It was an exciting adventure getting there on the buses. When we arrived we were all very excited. There were three planned activities during the day. Firstly we went to a tree nursery and helped to prepare the baby trees for planting. We then went onto actually planting some baby trees. Each child had a tree of their own and between us we planted more than one hundred trees! The final activity was to go on a nature walk around the beautiful countryside. We learnt many things about the plants, trees and we even saw some amazing wildlife. Both the children and the teachers had a great time helping to make the world a greener planet! Thank you to all of our new friends at the Plant a Tree Today Foundation for helping us to have such a fun and informative trip. EY2 THAILAND DAY: EY2 have had another successful Thailand Day in their garden. They have been celebrating living in Thailand by taking part in traditional games and activities. T
