ACADEMIC SUCCESS HIGHLIGHTS SHREWSBURY NEXT STAGE WARWICK FOR DRAMA SCHOLAR BEN Shrewsbury International School Drama Scholar, Ben Kulvichit, has been awarded a place at top-ranking Warwick University to read Theatre and Performance Studies. Currently completing A-levels in English, Drama, Music, History, Ben was keen to choose a course that provided a balance of both practical and academic elements, and with creative talents such as the critically acclaimed Barrel Organ Theatre Company also emerging from Warwick in recent years, he is hugely excited to be continuing his studies in the UK. Having joined Shrewsbury in Year 3, Ben’s first real taste of the stage came four years later when played a chorus role in the Senior School Production of Little Shop of Horrors. Since then, he has risen to become one of the most prominent figures in Shrewsbury’s performing arts scene, this year playing the role of Lord Capulet in the School’s main show, Romeo and Juliet.
