Q. 12. Do you sell on line? Do you now, or in the future plan to use one of the online marketplaces to sell supplies or finished product? A. Coming this July! We are diligently working hard to get our popular kits and designs online. Check back to our website soon for more information. Q. 9. What makes your ‘Just Bead It’ shop stand out from the rest? What makes your store the best in your area? A. Our friendly, knowledgeable customer service coupled with a large variety of beads and supplies. Many of the popular beading designs call for beads that can only be found in our area at our shop, and nothing beats being able to touch and feel the beads and see their true luster in person. Q. 10. Do you participate as a local bead shop in community fund-raising opportunities? A. As Concord residents for nearly 40 years, we love the Bay Area and do our best to support our community. We hold a Bead Swap in the fall, and bead donations were given to a local Breast Cancer Survivor beading group. Also, you can find gift certificates as auction items that we’ve donated to local schools, swim teams, service organizations and choir groups in our area. Q. 11. Has your store ever had any customers stop in who are just travelling through from a distance away from your shop? A. Yes! We have “regulars” that come in annually to visit us from the east coast and all the way down from Australia. Always fun to meet people from all around the world that come into our shop. 24| June-July | RitzyToo! | RitzyToo.com Q. 13. What advantages does your store offer customers that allows you to compete effectively against the big box stores? A. A larger selection and variety of beads compared to our local big box stores, plus a higher quality with competitive pricing. We keep our stock on trend with the latest designs, patterns and types of beads. And, our customers are confident that they can come to us with their beading issues, and we can help give them informative guidance with their projects. Q. 14. What do you like the most about owning and operating your own family bead shop? A. We have the opportunity to spend way too much time with our family. All jokes aside, we have the flexibility to try new ideas and be creative in a loving, supportive environment. Plus we’ve been able to extend our family with all our wonderful customers that have joined our beading community.
