CONDUCTAS PROTECTORAS DEL AMBIENTE Y LOGRO ACADÉMICO EN LA
DISCIPLINA DEL DISEÑO

RESUMEN
La disciplina del Diseño Industrial se caracteriza por dar solución a problemáticas sociales
a través de productos o servicios, donde la sustentabilidad debe ser punto clave para el
desarrollo de soluciones que satisfacen problemáticas sociales de cualquier sector de la
población: industrial, semi-industrial o artesanal/ alto, medio o bajo.
En este sentido, el presente estudio, tiene como objetivo indagar el beneficio que genera
el desarrollo de las Conductas Protectoras del Ambiente (CPA) en pro del Logro
Académico (LA) en los estudiantes de la disciplina del Diseño; se describe qué son y cuál
es la importancia de las mismas, aunque no se ha encontrado una definición concreta de
las Conductas Protectoras del Ambiente, Víctor Corral Verdugo (2001), las reconoce como
todo acto en beneficio de un ser vivo que se encuentre en el entorno. Con respecto al
Logro Académico se describen los factores que influyen para obtenerlo, tomando como
punto de partida el estudio realizado por Richard Elmore (2009) centrado en el estudiante,
el contenido y el maestro y la pertinacia de mantener el equilibrio entre todos estos
factores.
ABSTRACT
The Industrial Design discipline is characterized by solving social problems through
products or services where sustainability should be key point for the development of
solutions that meet social problems of any sector of the population: industrial, semi-
industrial or handmade, high, medium, or low. In this sense, the present study aims to
investigate the benefit generated by the development of Environmental Conservation
Behavior for academic achievements on Design discipline students. Addressing what it is
and its importance, although there is not a concrete definition for Environmental
Conservation Behavior, Víctor Corral Verdugo (2001) has recognized them as acts for the
benefit of a living being found in the environment. Concerning to the academic
achievement there are some factors that influence to obtain it, taking as a starting point
the study by Richard Elmore (2009) focused on the student, the content and the teacher,
and the pertinacity of maintaining balance between all these factors.
